Product Faults and Delivery Delays.

Ouch, sorry if you’re having issues with your product or delivery. Mishaps happen sometimes and so we have policies to help resolve your issues as best we can. If you issue has to do with printed items then your information is directly below simply read on but if your issue has to do with music downloads etc. Then please scroll to the bottom of the page where you will find policies on those items.

1st things first, If you’re reading this then you’ve come here most likely because you have an issue with your printed items right now. Perhaps the print was upside down or inside out or some other major manufacturer malfunction or fault has occurred. Or your delivery has not yet arrived and it’s a week or so late but less than 20 days late as there are time limits for when claims can be made to some manufacturers after expected delivery dates.

If your concern is for a product purchased through the BARGAIN HUNTER’s SHOP which does NOT use POD Drop shipping then different policies apply. Please see the (BARGAIN HUNTER’s Terms & Conditions).

For most other shops on this website where Print-on-Demand (POD) Drop shipping companies are the main providers then please continue below.

To the right, you may see a column with blue links. These are the drop shipping returns and shipping policies of companies through which this website operates. These are the companies who take your orders and turn them into your products and then deliver them. Please read on below before using those links as the next few paragraphs get us underway for making your claim. Read those links later as you will learn soon that time and timing are key to a successful claim for a refund, replacement or store credit.

The dropshipping companies may change their policies from time to time and so we try to make policies that suit some measure of flexibility for possible variations if their policies have changed.

So if you’re within that 20 Day limit and the parcel has not arrived then contact us with the expected delivery date details, the item description and your name and contact details.

This 20 day limit should give us ample time to make the claim within the manufacturer’s own time limit so they can make their own claim with the postal service within the time limit of the postal service. So first things first check your information and claim time limits. Even if your claim is past the limit then keep reading.

There are also time limits on damage claims after the confirmed delivery which is 7 DAYS. So 7 days after official delivery has occurred the window for some manufacturer’s claims closes. This limit extends to us too. So really if you wait for the 7th day to contact us then we may not have the time to contact the POD Drop shipping company which means a return claim is very unlikely to occur.

However, since we (running this site) are also the customer of the company you purchased an item with our design on we want to know about any problems with their products or delivery systems so please use the contact form ( RED ) button below and include your phone number in the comment section. You need to include the delivery details and date of delivery as it really is important. If it’s a manufacturer's fault then we’ll need photos of the damaged goods and also the delivery packaging so you may like to email a few photos of the damage with your name and contact details for confirmation. Use the (BLUE) button to send emails with a few photos. Once you have done that then please read on below for more details and what is involved. MORE information on how this works. Now that you have contacted us you may like to know what to expect. It’s a bit more complex than a normal shop return policy. Most results and resolutions are nice for everyone but some can leave us all with a little tummy knot of disappointment which none of us wants.

If you have ordered an item through one of the Print-on-Demand Drop Shipping companies then your order goes directly to the manufacturer, they add the prints and then send it out to the address provided by the customer at the checkout. This means that there are very tight timelines for being able to change an order if the customer has changed their mind. So for the print-on-demand items, it is very unlikely that an order can be reversed without a financial penalty. Some allow a change of mind but only within a four-hour window from the time that the older was made and paid for by the customer. After the four-hour limit has expired, there is a 50% penalty to cancel the order. Cancelling an order complex not only for printing reasons but also for tax reasons, freight issues and other administrative costs where reversals cost.

Using this POD Drop shipping method we don’t physically have contact with the product before you receive it so the quality control is handled at the manufacturer’s end and so when the item is delivered please don’t wait to open it. If it is a present for someone to gift to later then please open it before you wrap it as a present and check that the item is good. Some companies have a very strict time period allowable to claim for manufacturer faults.

Some of the company policies have a 7DAY notification period. This means that when the item is delivered to you you need to open it and check the contents aren’t damaged as if there is a manufacturer’s fault then we only have seven days from that delivery date to claim a replacement or refund for it.

So please contact us immediately if there is a manufacturer’s defect. Take photos and have the original postal/delivery packaging and information handy. Below you will find a list of links to the different return and replacement policies of companies that we have used or still do. Please do read them if you have any problems as there are some products that have a non-return policy attached and for reasonable reasons such as under-ware and other close-fitting garments that may introduce a chance of hygiene issues. Most of these come with a customer paying for the return postage policy which we also adopt as our policy.

Manufacturer Faults or Delayed Deliveries.

Printed Items

Most products here are drop shipped. So your order goes from this website directly to the printing companies /manufacturers and then they ship them directly to your address. The order and shipping information should be provided to you during checkout so have it handy.

7 DAYS IS A KEY TIME FRAME for some companies so DON’T WAIT to make a claim. You have only 7 days from receiving the item to report any manufacturer faults. That’s 7 Days so we would suggest given such a small time frame that you try to contact us first and if there has been no immediate response then contact the manufacturer directly before that time limit lapses. We live and work in the outback and so digital communication is often terrible at best.

Delayed Deliveries. If the item has not arrived on or before the expected delivery date, then you have only 30 days after that expected delivery date to report it. Check your purchase information for details on dates and write down the delivery details. Check if there were any tracking options and check the tracking if you can. In some cases In the outback if a parcel has been delivered to a post box or courier service centre then the parcel status becomes officially delivered. I know it’s far more complicated than it should be but we’ll get through it. It’s dropshipping which is fairly new to the world of retail.

The manufacturers of items have their own return policies on faulty or damaged items and delivery items that we pass on to the customer. Please read their refund and return policies as provided in the right column.

In summary, it’s best if you read their policies and instructions on how to make a refund or replacement claim first and then contact us to help resolve the issue. HUGE POD - For claims of damage, print errors or manufacturer faults NOTICE REQUIRED 7DAYS after receipt of goods. Cheap products possibly Chinese and they claim excellent quality although we follow the general understanding that you get what you pay for. Their return and shipping policies seem to vary across the internet so their may be some uncertainty using this company. If you have a delayed delivery query. Please see your order as some products have delivery tracking options and these issues can be solved directly through the deliverer’s/courier’s site. From personal experience, all items I’ve purchased through these companies have provided excellent delivery services and remarkably accurate delivery time predictions. Some companies take as little as a week from order to delivery and some take around six weeks. It depends mainly on which country they come from and any shipping issues that may arise. It can also be simply down to the manufacturers being backlogged with orders so that 30 DAY time frame mentioned above is pretty important to get started finding out what the delay may be. Some companies such as HugePOD demand no later than 7DAYS after confirmed delivery. So, the idea is to unpack the item as soon as it arrives and check it. If there’s a clear manufacturer fault then take some photos and contact us.

If you have experienced poor delivery handling with potentially damaged goods then please take photos of any damage to the delivery box/packaging. I’ve never had this issue although I have read some of the manufacturer’s return policies on poorly delivered items and if they do have a return policy then they ask for photographs as proof. Print and Garment quality - In general these are not your low quality Bali Basement Bargain Bin items, or sweat shops so I expect high standards from any and all manufacturers/suppliers this site uses. In general the policies they have seem to be quite good.

MUSIC - DOWNLOAD FILES - These are produced by me at home in my bus. I use a Macintosh Lap Top computer to record the music and send them to an online digital mastering company to ensure the highest quality of sounds possible with my equipment. The quality of the sound files are sufficient for radio stations to play and they have very high standards when it comes to the technical requirements of audio files. So although the recordings are not from a million-dollar superstar’s studio production they are of very high quality.

USB’s - The USB products come loaded with many Mp3 files. They also may include extra files such as word documents, photographs, PDFs and other file types as added extras. The intended use of the USB is as a storage device from which you can plug into your computer and drag and drop the files onto your computer and into your own Mp3 Music file library. They are not intended for playing the music directly through your music systems. They can be played directly on a system but they are not intended for this so please don’t. If played directly through a music player then the USB may heat up where prolonged heating of such a device will only shorten its life and may damage the product and the files. It is much safer and highly recommended to plug the USB into your computer and drag and drop the files into your library.

The later USB products in Bronze, Silver or Gold and the Red Square USB a high-quality functioning USBs with ample memory and especially speed function to be plugged in and played directly through your music device where a music playable USB inlet is installed in a Car, home or portable stereo system or other devices where USBs can play music. Be aware - (Some music-playing devices with Bluetooth etc.. that do have USB inlets may not be able to play music through a USB as they are only used for power and recharging batteries etc. )

There is an older version of the USBs which has a slower speed capability. It really should not be played directly through any stereo system as the slow speed means an occasional skip or blip during playback.

CDs - Are to be used as per manufacturers instructions.

Some download files are compressed into a .ZIP folder and some are single Mp3 files. On rare occasions, some computers can’t seem to open or access a .ZIP folder. If this is the case for you then please fill out a contact form and leave your details and we can see about sending the files to you in a different file format.

Change of Mind - For printed items, being a drop-ship type arrangement we do NOT refund or give credit for a purchaser’s “change of mind”. Once the order is placed it goes through several channels to the manufacturer and so we may not be able to reverse it so unless the order form indicates that a reversal option is available by the manufacturer then we may not be able to reverse your order. So please be certain about your choice. However, if you do have a change of mind then do contact us and let us know as we may be able to offer an alternate solution.
