SHIPPING, DELIVERY & Returns POLICIES

Last edited, 27 January 2023

There are three tiers of price and expected quality of items and service in the shops and so there are several suppliers and methods through which items can be ordered and processed. Higher-priced items are higher-quality items and provide higher levels of secure shipping services. The middle tier prices are middle of the range quality, Hit and miss with hopefully more hits than misses. So the quality and delivery services will be good mostly. The Bargains and cheap items are very much a gamble on garment and print quality although as far as shipping goes, once we receive the items from where ever they come then we post them out through Australia post so the delivery will be quite good. Below are the policies of shipping through which this site operates. You will find a list of the partner companies / drop shipping companies and links to their shipping policies for a better understanding of how these costs and processes work.

Some items are ordered directly through specific websites such as Spreadshirt which has its own shipping rates, procedures and policies and so if you purchase through those sites then you are bound by their policies rather than any policies set on this site. I have read through their policies to satisfy myself that anyone buying my prints through these online services should have a good experience but if you do have any issues with even those shops then please contact me. Even though you are transacting through their business, it is my product you are buying and they make profits by selling my designs on their products and so If I can help, I will.

As this online shop progresses. Each stage becomes more complex. Shipping is one of the complexities that seem far more complex than it should be. Nonetheless, it is what it is. Buying a thing is one thing and getting it delivered is a whole other industry thing and so policies need to be in place to let you know how the shipping works when ordering on this website through both the Print-on-Demand drop-shipped items and the Bargain Hunter’s products or any other products you purchase through this website.

This site sells many different types of items from small soft durable shirts to fragile cups and even to art framed printed works. Things that vary in volume and weight mean different shipping requirements and costs. Shipping becomes particularly important in the rare occasions that something needs to be returned. Small soft items like shirts aren’t a problem but bulky, fragile or awkward items can blow out in shipping costs if returns occur. See the returns policies for more details if you are looking to return an item. In general, if conditions are met and a return is granted then the cost of return shipping is paid for by the customer. Different cases and different outcomes occur but in general, the customer covers the return postage costs. See the (Faults & Delivery issues policies) for more details.

If you are here enquiring about a non-delivered item then please refer to the (Faults & Delivery issues policies) otherwise below is a document that helps describe the shipping policies.

Downloadable files are not included in this shipping/delivery policy document other than in this paragraph to say that if the download fails or you cannot access or open the downloaded file then contact us immediately so we can rectify the files or arrange the files to be sent to you through other media. One known issue which is rare but worth mentioning is that some computers can’t open .Zip compressed files in this one instance files were delivered via an online cloud service.

Print-on-demand (POD) uses the printing company’s delivery system. Your order could be made anywhere in the world and so delivery charges vary considerably depending on where they are shipped from and where the parcel is being delivered. Interestingly the printing company does not charge the delivery costs to the customer during the transaction. These costs are what we the retailers pay to have your item sent to you once they are made so the only shipping costs you see at the checkout are those that we generate to try to recoup some or all of the shipping costs charged by the printing company doing your prints.

(POD) SHIPPING TIMES - These vary from very quick and super awesome to rather slow but on time. POD often means international printers and postal requirements.

(POD) SMALL SOFT items including Shirts, Hats, Shorts - small soft durable items have constantly lower shipping costs than some items and so some or all of the cost of shipping has been calculated into the cost price. This allows for a (FREE SHIPPING) policy for these items to be in place. It also means that any % discounts on the item offset to increase the financial burden % of shipping on that product. That we are paying for the shipping on these items means this is our burden or gift to the customer. ( FREE SHIPPING )

(POD) BULKY SOFT items. Including but not limited to Blankets, Jackets, Bags and any soft item that may have volume or weight requirements for higher shipping costs. Depending on the posting and delivery locations and the bulk or weight of the product will determine the cost of shipping/delivery.

(POD) Small and delicate or simply awkward packaging like Cups, Drink Bottles, ( Strangely ) Mouse Mats, phone covers, computer covers and more of the like.

(POD) WALL ART / POSTERS / FRAMED etc. Sometimes have a greater shipping cost than the price of the item. I recall some years ago, I bought a book on Amazon that cost $1.00 and the shipping cost $15.00. So this scenario is not uncommon. .

Shipping rates as approximations from respective suppliers for your goods and to your region can be seen in the links below. I’m sure you’ll agree that shipping is a bit more complex than perhaps it should be.

BARGAIN HUNTERS - at The Cheep Cheep shop. Items purchased through this shop are NOT Print-on-Demand but are searched out as cheaply as possible from larger print companies having special deals so we can reduce the price and hopefully not compromise too much on the quality of the garments or prints. We and the customer may expect some reduction in quality for the lower prices and so unless there is a completely gross misprint, incorrect design or material damage then there is a strict no-refund policy.

The SHIPPING price will depend on the size of the order and the product type and will be determined for each Garment. Unless pre-arranged with a customer, or stated in the description of the item then Australia Post rates will apply. Small items will likely be placed in a small Australia Post satchel, tracked but not urgent. Large orders or express delivery can be requested at the cost of the customer. The shipping dates and TIMING will be determined from the Date of us having received the goods from the manufacturer. For Pre-purchasing before the product has landed then the date of expected arrival to Australia will be posted in each item’s description panel. If the shipment has not arrived on time, we look into it and if there is a significant delay like the container fell off the ship or other Major freight issues where the delay may be then we will inform each Prepurchase order holder to discuss a refund or credit arrangement on the next bargain shipment. Once a shipment has landed in Australia it still may take several weeks to process and post out and then Australia Post takes it from there.
